Revamped.cv is a product of 8thWanda. In this policy, Revamped.cv, we, us, and our refer to the Revamped.cv product and the 8thWanda team that operates it.

This policy is written for users in South Africa and should be read with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA), and other applicable laws.

Account information, including your name, email address, authentication information, and profile settings.

Resume and job-search information you upload or enter, including CV files, extracted resume text, job descriptions, generated resume versions, ATS scores, templates, client information for agency accounts, and download history.

Payment and billing information processed through our payment provider. We do not store full card details on Revamped.cv.

Technical information, including device, browser, IP address, logs, security events, and usage data needed to run, protect, and improve the service.

To provide the service: upload, parse, score, rewrite, edit, store, and export resumes.

To manage accounts, subscriptions, credits, payment records, security checks, support requests, and abuse prevention.

To improve Revamped.cv, including debugging, analytics, product research, and quality checks.

To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Resume content and job descriptions may be processed by AI service providers so that Revamped.cv can generate ATS analysis and resume rewrites.

You are responsible for reviewing generated content before using it. Revamped.cv does not guarantee that generated content is error-free, complete, or accepted by an employer.

Do not upload information you are not allowed to share, including another person's resume unless you have the right or authority to process it.

We share information with service providers that help us run the product, such as hosting, database, storage, payment, email, authentication, analytics, security, and AI processing providers.

We may disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer involving Revamped.cv or 8thWanda.

We do not sell your resume content.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, but no online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security records.

You may request deletion of your account or certain personal information, subject to legal, security, billing, and backup-retention requirements.

Under POPIA, you may request access to your personal information, correction or deletion of inaccurate information, objection to certain processing, and information about how your data is processed.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator South Africa if you believe your personal information has been processed unlawfully.
